Nesta que um dia foi terra
germinou uma semente e depois,
como a maioria das sementes, floriu.
Floriu e se fez planta e agora
é quase uma árvore.
Alta, sólida, resistente às intempéries
da vida, determinada e perseverante.
Rego-a todos os dias e ela vai crescendo.
Alimento a esperança e o sonho
de a ver crescer a cada dia por muito tempo e
então ponho-me a olhar para ela, apreciando-a
acarinhando-a, alimentando-a com a meu suor.
É linda a minha árvore!
Ano após ano,sempre crescendo!
Um dia, espero, dará frutos,tão belos quanto ela
e então, serei terra outra vez!
